-

Rumours are all over and a number of players will most certainly find new clubs during January. Here is our update on the current situation

Wigan midfielder Paul Scharner is linked with a move to Fulham. Fulham manager Roy Hodgson must pay a fee in the region of £ 3 million to get the Austrian to Craven Cottage.

A number of players will leave Tottenham in the transfer window. Harry Redknapp will use January to clean up in his overfilled squad. Alan Hutton, David Bentley, Roman Pavlyuchenko are three players with an uncertain future at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham is again linked with David James. The veteran goalkeeper is keen on a last chance to prove that he is one of the best in England and hopefully gain a place in the World Cup next summer.

Rafael van der Vaart could leave Real Madrid and join Arsenal. The 26 year old Dutch international is doing well at Real, but has this season been linked with a number of clubs.

Aston Villa is ready to sign WBA's 22 year old midfielder Graham Dorrans. WBA could be willing to sell, but only for a price of £ 4 million or more. Everton, Birmingham and Stoke are also reported to be tracking the highly rated player.

Hull is one of many clubs that will try to sign former Portsmouth captain Sol Campbell. Everton, Arsenal and Birmingham are other clubs reported to be in the front line for the former England man.

Maynor Figueroa is a close target for Tottenham. Spurs manager Harry Redknapp is ready to splash out
£ 6 million for the midfielder.

Geoffrey Hairemans is a target for West Ham. The young and highly talented Belgian is a target for many top clubs in Europe.

Steve Coppell could return to Reading and replace Brendan Rodgers. Everything has gone down hill this season and Reading could again be saved by their former boss.

Arsenal duo Jack Wilshire and Kerrea Gilbert could both end up at Leicester. Wilshire on loan and Gilbert in a move worth £ 750 000. Wilshire is also wanted at Fulham.

Barcelona forward Eidur Gudjohnsen is looking for a return to Premier League. Manchester United, Arsenal and Stoke could all be in line to sign the Iceland international.

Gareth Southgate is linked with Reading and a return to management just a few months after leaving Middlesbrough. Southgate is also one of the candidates at Sheffield Wednesday.

Gordon Strachan is ready to go north to strengthen his squad. A number of his former players at Celtic could be approached.

Tottenham is linked with Chilean international Humberto Soazo. Soazo (28) is currently playing in Mexico with Monterrey. The striker is known for his great goalscoring touch.

Maxi Rodriguez is linked with a move to Everton. The Argentinian is currently with Athletico Madrid. He has previously played for Newell's Old Boys, Oviedo (loan) and Espanyol.
