is according to several tabloids a target for Man Utd. James Beattie
could be a target for Gordon Strachan in his attempt to bring
Middlesbrough back in the promotion race. WBA would also be interested
in the former Sheffield United and Everton forward.
Steve Bruce and Sunderland could be the next club for Tottenham defender
Alan Hutton. If Hutton becomes a black cat, it would open for a
move for Rio Ferdinand.
Joe Hart has impressed Birmingham manager Alex McLeish and he
would be interested to make the loan deal with Man City permanent in
January.
Michael Ball could be heading for Wigan. Ball is currently out of
contract since his release from Man City in the summer. Portsmouth and
Notts County is also chasing Ball.
Daily Mail reports that Lee Carsley could be on his way out of
Birmingham in January. Leicester, West Bromwich and his former club
Derby are all rumoured to be in line for his services.
New York Red Bull currenlty appointed former HSV star Erik Soler
as their new director of football. His major task is to find the new
manager. Former Portsmouth manager Tony Adams is according to
Daily Mail on of the top candidates.
Los Angeles Galaxy forward Landon Donovan could be heading for
Everton and Goodison Park in January. This will be a loan deal and give
Donovan a chance to train and play during the break in the MLS.
Fulham is ready to off load a number of players, who are currently out
of the first team picture. Roy Hodgson could be wiling to let players go
out on loan or sell them if the price is right. Eddie Johnson,
Fredrik Stoor, Toni Kallio, Seol Ki-Hyeon and David Elm are names
mentioned as players on the exit list.
Birmingham forward Kevin Phillips can leave Birmingham as soon as
he finds himself a new club. Phillips (36) could end up at his former
club Watford.
Arsenal is according to Sporting Life ready to fight for Tottenham
forward Roman Pavlyuchenko. With Arshavin at the club and a bit
of problems up front, it could be a great move to link the Russian up
with his team mate in the national team.
