Former foxes could join Notts Co
Mancini and Taylor linked with the Magpies manager post

SOCCERVOICE.COM, 14.10.2009

Daily Express reports that former Inter boss Roberto Mancini could be a possible new man taking charge of Notts County. Another candidate could be former Leicester City manager Peter Taylor.

Peter Taylor worked under Sven Goran Eriksson when he was in charge of England. Taylor leaded England in one friendly before Eriksson came in, and PT was the man that gave David Beckham the England captaincy.

Roberto Mancini played under Eriksson both at Lazio and Sampdoria and was later recomended by Eriksson to Taylor when he was in charge of Leicester.

Mancini joined Leicester in January 2001, but only managed to play 4 games before he was tempted by an offer from Fiorentina to be their head coach.

Mancini and Taylor are both linked with the vacant position at Meadow Lane. Taylor was last week sacked from his position as manager and Mancini has not been involved in management since leaving Inter after the 07-08 season.
