Aston Villa joins chase for
Swedish wonder
Groningen forward in line for Premier League move

Daily Star reports that
Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill is lining up a £8 million bid for
Groningen forward Marcus Berg. Berg (22) made a name for himself during
the European U.21 Championship in June.
Fulham, Sunderland and Everton are other clubs mentioned as possible new
destinations for Berg. So far none has been as concrete as the current
talks about him moving to Aston Villa.
Berg has previously played for Swedish club IFK Gothenburg.
