Daily Mirror reports
that Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill is ready to fight for both Wigan
defender Titus Bramble and Middlesbrough winger Stewart Downing.
Downing has been heavilly linked with Liverpool and Tottenham and they
are still, according to the press, in the race. Titus Bramble could be
an easier target since no other club has been linked with the former
Newcastle and Ipswich defender.
