Liverpool and Tottenham in
front to sign £10 million man

Daily Mirror reports
that Tottenham and Liverpool are favourites to sign Middlesbrough
midfielder Stewart Downing. Downing (24) is now ready to move on and
sign for a Premier League club.
Downing has played 197 league games for Middlesbrough. He is a proven
England international with 23 caps for his country.
Liverpool and Tottenham have earlier been linked with the player and it
looks likely that he will end up at one of those clubs if they are ready
to pay the asking price of £10 million.
