The People reports
today that Tottenham captain Robbie Keane could be on the move. Aston
Villa is eager to sign the former Wolves and Coventry player.
Keane (28) left Tottenham last summer to try his luck at Liverpool. Just
a half year later he was back at Tottenham. He played a key part in
helping Spurs to a safe place and news about him leaving the club is a
bit sensational.
Redknapp has not yet any moves in the transfer market and rumours are
that he has to offload a number of players to get money for new faces.
Keane is one of a group of players linked with a move away from the
North London club. David Bentley, Tom Huddlestone, Jermaine Jenas,
Didier Zokora, Heurelho Gomes, Gareth Bale, Chris Gunther, Jamie O'Hara,
Giovani, Bent and Pavlyuchenko are all players linked with other clubs
this summer.
