Daily Mirror reports
that AC Milan have blocked a monster offer from a Premier League club.
The club is believed to be Chelsea. The offer is regarded as "massive"
and described as a monster offer.
The player in question is Brazilian forward Alexandre Pato and the offer
is believed to be in the region of £80 million. Pato is a player that AC
Milan would like to keep, and they don't have to sell after Kaka left
for Real Madrid.
Newly appointed Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has not yet completed
any transfers, but is closely linked with Man City forward Daniel
Sturridge.
The City youngster is a promising young forward, but not 100% ready to
play for a team that competes for silverware in every competition. This
must be regarded as a transfer for the future.
Valencia forward David Villa is not out of the picture and Karim Benzema
could also be a player that Chelsea will compete for. Franck Ribery
rumours are also circulating over Stamford Bridge.
AC Milan duo Andrea Pirlo and Gennaro Gattusso are also mentioned in the
press as possible targets for Chelsea boss Ancelotti.
