Experienced Aston Villa pair close to exit
Retirement and London move options for the players

SOCCERVOICE.COM, 26.06.2009

Daily Mirror reports that Aston Villa could part company with two expirienced players. Defender Wilfred Bouma has been out with injuries for a long period and could be considering retirement, while Steven Sidwell could be heading for a move to Fulham.

Roy Hodgson is reported to have shown interest for Sidwell and could be ready to pay a fee believed to be in the region of £5 million.

Sidwell joined Aston Villa from Chelsea in front of last season after a difficult year at Stamford Bridge. His time at Villa Park has not been the best and he is far from a regular in the Villa team.
