Daily Mirror reports
that Man Utd could be willing to pay as much as £40 million for Valencia
forward David Villa. Villa is also chased by Chelsea.
Sir Alex was also supposed to sign Wigan winger Antonio Valencia.
Valencia (23) was valued to £16 million, but so far nothing has happened.
Latest news are that Nani could be joining Wigan as part of the deal and
making the total amount for Valencia in the region of £20 million.
If Nani goes the opposite way, the fee to pay for Man Utd could decrease
to around £15 million, with a value of Nani to around £5 million.
