Daily Star reports that
Blackburn could be willing to pay a fee up to £10 million to land
Portsmouth forward Peter Crouch.
Crouch (28) has been criticial to the Pompey regime and a move away from
the club could come sooner than expected. Other reports today suggests
that Crouch is ready to stay at Fratton Park.
Crouch joined Portsmouth from Liverpool last summer. Pompey paid £11
million, but a lower fee could be accepted this time.
Portsmouth got a fantastic fee for England right back Glen Johnson, when
Liverpool paid £18.5 million for his services, and the summer cash in
will probably make it possible to bring in new faces at the club.
