Daily Mirror reports
that Kevin Nolan, Kevin Doyle and Michael Owen are targets for Wolves,
Stoke, Aston Villa and Hull.
Nolan is a very expensive player for Newcastle and he could be on his
way out of St James Park after just five months with the club. Blackburn
are also reported to be interested in the former Bolton captain.
Michael Owen has for a longer period been linked with a move to Aston
Villa, but also newly promoted Wolves, together with Stoke and Hull
could try to tempt Owen with a chance to win back his pride and play
Premier League football next season. Everton has also been linked with
Owen.
Reading forward Kevin Doyle was a close target for Aston Villa last
season and he was close to a
£5 million move to Villa Park. Stoke was linked with the player in
January and now Hull and Wolves are ready to go as high as £6.5 million.
