Daily Mirror reports
that Blackburn and Sunderland are in the hunt for Portsmouth forward
Peter Crouch. Crouch (28) joined Portsmouth from Liverpool last summer
for a fee of £11 million.
Crouch was earlier linked with a shock return to Liverpoolm, but that
looks unlikely. The England international is eager to play week in and
week out and then a move to either Sunderland or Blackburn would fit
better.
Crouch will if he joins Sunderland or Blackburn move to his 10th club.
He started out at Tottenham in 1998 and has since leaving Spurs, played
for QPR, Portsmouth (twice), Aston Villa, Southampton and Liverpool. He
has also been on loan at Dulwich Hamlet, Hassleholm and Norwich.
