Liverpool midfielders close
to Anfield exit
Mascherano and Alonso on the way out

Daily Mirror reported
yesterday that both Javier Mascherano and Xabi Alonso looks certain to
move to Spain. Alonso (27) is a target for Real Madrid and Mascherano
(25) could end up at Barcelona.
Both players are eager to get their moves cleared and join their new
clubs in good time for the next season starts. Liverpool manager Rafael
Benitez could get as much as £50 million for the duo.
Liverpool are linked with a number of new players with German
international Thomas Hitzlsperger as one of the players in line to
replace one of the two Liverpool midfielders.
