by £10 million Newcastle demand

Daily Star reports that
Newcastle defender Sebastien Bassong will be a very expensive signing
for the club that tries to bring in the French youngster.
£10 million is Newcastle's demand and this could probably be too much
for the clubs reported to be in the picture. Bassong himself expressed a
desire to join Arsenal, but with such a high price tag it will most
certainly not be a move Arsene Wenger will go for.
Sunderland and Man City are other clubs that earlier has been linked
with the player.
