closing in on star signings

Daily Star reports that
Real Madrid and Man Utd both are close to completing two major signings.
Man Utd looks certain to land Karim Benzema and Real Madrid will
complete the move for David Villa.
Both players are ready to leave their clubs Valencia and Lyon.
Man Utd will have to pay £30 million for Benzema. David Villa will join
Real Madrid for a fee
close to £40 million.
David Villa has also been linked with Man Utd and Chelsea, but no it
looks as if the battle is over.
