The Sun reports that Man City owner Thaksin Shinawatra could sell his
stake in the club. Everyone in England included a lot of Man City fans,
wonderd why the former Prime Minister in Taiwan wanted to by Man City.
His knowledge of football is zero and the motivation for going in, must be
financial. If Shinawatra decides to sell, this is of course another example
of football being just business and nothing else.
The complexity of running a football club and winning football games week in
and week out, could be too much for Shinawatra to swollow.
