Not many hours after BBC reported that Arshavin would snub Tottenham and
stay at Zenit, news are that the player could join the Londoners after
all
Daily Mail reports that Tottenham manager Juande Ramos has held personal
talks with Arshavin, to tell him that he will be a key player in the team.
There are lots of examples of players that have flopped and struggled to
settle in the Premiership. Ukrainien duo Serhiy Rebrov and Andriy Shevchenko
are two fantastic footballers that both struggled to adapt to the pace in
the English game.
The fact that you move to another country with a totally different language
can in many ways affect your abillity to perform, since uncertainty here
could stop your abillity to interact with your fellow team mates.
So time will tell if Arshavin joins Tottenham or not.
