Wigan midfielder not interested in Man
Utd move

Some young players will snub the chance of joining Man Utd, just because
they might fear that it could be the end of their career, ending up in
the reserves or loaned out to lower league clubs
One of the players that has decided to stay at their current club,
instead of a move to one of the big four, is Wigan midfielder Wilson
Palacios.
Man Utd and Aston Villa have both shown an interest for the talented
midfielder, but a new and improved contract from Steve Bruce, convinced him
to stay with Wigan.
The Honduras international joined Wigan from Birmingham in January 2008.
Steve Bruce, who quit Birmingham for Wigan just before the new year resigned
Palascios after signing him for Birmingham just a few months earlier.
The midfielder could become influential this season and surprise a few
people and rise to the top, which would probably been difficult if he was
playing in Man Utd reserves.
