Blackburn duo set to leave for
Man City and Tottenham

Paul Ince will most certainly get a difficult start to his life as
manager in the Premier League. He could be losing two of his best
players before the season starts
Daily Mirror reports that David Bentley will move to Tottenham from
Blackburn. The transfer was expected and Bentley was eager to leave Ewood
Park for a bigger club.
Roque Santa Cruz is the other player expected to head for the exit doors at
Blackburn, with both Man Utd and Man City as possible new clubs.
The Paraguay international and former Bayern Munich player is keen to move
on. Roque Santa Cruz who joined Blackburn for £ 3 800 000 could be sold for
as much as £ 10 million, and with £ 17 million for Bentley, there are
reasons to believe that the board at Blackburn would like to cash in.
Money will of course be available for Ince, who have signed Paul Robinson
from Tottenham. Robinson has been under loads of pressure after a
troublesome season at Tottenham and for England, but it could be the best
deal of the season if Robinson delivers at Ewood Park.
No specific player is at the moment linked with Blackburn to replace David
Bentley. Roque Santa Cruz could be staying at Ewood Park, if no bids are
accepted.
