Arsenal and Newcastle in sensational
swop deal

Newcastle and Arsenal could swop players next week. The players involved
makes it a bit of a sensation, since no one would think about them as
players who would like to leave their current clubs
The Mail on Sunday reports that Shay Given and Philippe Senderos could
swop clubs. Kevin Keegan has according to the same newspaper made a bid for
Senderos, but he is not certain if he wants Shay Given to leave St James
Park.
Wenger could be tempted to go for Given, and Given himself is more than
eager to join the London club. Given has a long and great career behind him
at Newcastle, moving there from Blackburn in 1997. Given (32) could be the
ideal replacement for Jens Lehmann who left Arsenal this summer.
Senderos, was when joining Arsenal, described as the new Bobby Moore, but in
the last two seasons he has not been up there with the best defenders in the
Premier League and also been out of Arsenal's first team. A move could
probably suit Senderos, to get his career 100 % back on track.
