Man City linked with
Blackburn trio and former Liverpool forward

Mark Hughes will go back to Blackburn to try to convince three of his
former players to join him at Man City
Daily Express reports today that Mark Hughes will try to sign Blackburn
forward Roque Santa Cruz. Brad Friedl and David Bentley are two other
Blackburn players that have been linked with Man City, but so far it is
believed that Friedl will either stay at Ewood Park or join Aston Villa,
instead of a move to Man CIty where he must fight for the goalkeeper job
with England international Joe Hart.
David Bentley is another player that at the moment looks likely to leave
Blackburn. Tottenham is first in line, but the link to former manager Mark
Hughes could give Man City a chance.
Today rumours are that Man City also will try to bring back Djibril Cisse to
English football. The former Liverpool player is currently with French club
Olympique Marseille.
