Tottenham target pulls out of Blackburn

Tottenham have for the last two weeks been heavilly linked with
Blackburn's David Bentley, now it looks as if the London club is close
to an agreement

Daily Mirror reports that David
Bentley no longer is on tour with Blackburn and that he is on his way to
complete a £ 18 million move to Tottenham.
Bentley was earlier linked with a move to Man Utd, but now it looks as if
Tottenham will get their number one summer target.
Bentley joined Blackburn from Arsenal back in 2005, first on loan and a
permenent deal was completed in January 2006.
Bentley has also spent a season on loan at Norwich, during their Premier
League flirt in the 2004-2005 season. Bentley has so far played 6 times for
England and is one of the most exciting midfielders in the Premier League
today.
