Could the unlikely happen at Chelsea,
Man Utd and Liverpool, with Leeds and Leicester wandering in the
wilderness

Predictions are difficult, but could the unlikely happen that Chelsea
will use £ 100 million on a player, Barry will finally get his move to
Liverpool and Man Utd using £ 50 million for a player they will put in
the reserves
All of it has been in the tabloids
this week, with £ 80 million bids turned down and Sir Alex reported to UEFA
for the same reasons as Man Utd claimed Real Madrid for tapping up.
Will Kaka finally join Chelsea, when Scolari gives a £ 100 million take it
or leave it bid for his fellow Brazilian. Will Juande Ramos let his
Bulgarian "misfit" join Man Utd for a fee in the region of £ 50 million, and
could Benitez convince Xavi Allonso to leave so he can get his £ 30 million
to sign Gareth Barry.
A total freak show for people who don't follow football, but for us "fanatic
football fans" it is just a lot of fun, hoping for the best players to join,
and just believe that the owners of this clubs knows what they are doing and
that they can afford to pay the players salaries and transfer fees.
Former Premiership clubs such as Leeds and Leicester will battle for their
lives at the third level of English football after leaving the big game,
will they ever return ?
These are all questions to be answerred for in the new and exciting 08-09
season coming up in a couple of weeks. The exciting world of Premier League
football will over shadow former greats such as Leeds and Leicester.
Leicester went down in front of this season, and former Portsmouth owner
Milan Mandaric, might think that he has done the worst decission ever when
he agreed to buy the Midland club.
Leeds United have their former captain and legendary player Gary McAllister
as their manager, and this season they will start at the same level as their
opponents without a 15 points deduction.
Newly promoted to the Premier League, Stoke, Hull and WBA have all
experienced the level of third tier football and are on a high after long
and dry periods in the "football dessert".
So will Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea make their dream signings, trying to
win every trophy available, while Leicester and Leeds are working hard to
get promoted without using almost no money at all to get their results ?
