BBC reports that Richard Wright has
returned to his former club Ipswich. Wright moved from West Ham to Ipswich
for an undsiclosed fee.
The former England international was never close to a first team place with
Robert Green as Alan Curbishley's first choice.
Wright's career has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride, but he can get it
back on track with Ipswich. Wright (30) is still has a lot of years left as
a goalkeeper.
Injuries and unlucky situations never made it easy for him at Arsenal and
Everton, where he mostly was number two behind good goalkeepers such as
David Seaman, Nigel Martyn and Tim Howard.
Wright spent the end of last season on loan at Southampton and helped them
avoid relegation.
