Liverpool manager Rafel Benitez could be ready to place a bid for Aston
Villa's Gareth Barry, if he can solve another player puzzle
The sale of Peter Crouch will bring
in cash to use for a possible transfer for Gareth Barry from Aston Villa.
The big question is, will Xabi Allonso leave Liverpool and join either
Juventus or Athletico Madrid. Allonso is ready to fight for his future at
Anfield and not eager to move on.
News of the World reports today that Xabi Alonso will sit down and discuss
his future with manager Rafael Benitez and the result of that meeting will
give the answer to a possible move for Barry.
Liverpool knows what they have to pay to get Barry, but with Alonso still at
Anfield, Benitez will get a big selection problem. If Alonso is ready to
leave Anfield and join Juventus, then the move for Gareth Barry will be back
on.
