Former Arsenal star linked with a move
to Roma

Arsenal is eager to sign new players in front of the new season and some
of their former greats are also possible transfer targets for other
European clubs
Athletico Madrid player Jose Reyes
could be moving on during the summer. Reyes played for Arsenal from 2004 to
2007. He was signed from Spanish club Sevilla and at that time described as
one of the most talented players in Europe.
He never managed to establish himself 100 % in the Arsenal team, despite
playing some fantastic football for the club, and joined Real Madrid on loan
in front of the 2006-2007 season.
He wanted to stay in Spain and after a year at Real, it was clear that Reyes
would join Madrid rivals Athletico in front of the 07-08 season.
Reports today are that the Spanish international with 21 caps for his
country, will be on his way to AS Roma after being described as a player
without a future at Athletico.
